To accomplish
our mission, CBRB Cares partners with housing related
organizations. Our partners receive support in the form
of financial contributions, volunteer projects, in-kind
donations and holiday gift drives.
Community
Servings
Community Servings is dedicated to
providing free home-delivered meals throughout
Eastern Massachusetts to people homebound with HIV/AIDS
and other acute life-threatening illnesses,
who are unable to shop or cook for themselves.
The organization reaches out to those with the most need,
providing clients, their dependent families, and caregivers
with appealing, nutritious meals.
Community Servings' goals are to help clients maintain their health and dignity,
provide nutritionally and culturally appropriate meals,
preserve the integrity of family,
and send the message that someone cares.
The
Home for Little Wanderers
The Home for Little Wanderers is
a nationally renowned, private, non-profit child and
family service agency providing services to more than
10,000 children and families each year. The mission
of The Home is to ensure the healthy development of
children at risk, their families and communities through
an integrated system of prevention, advocacy, research
and a continuum of direct services. With a history dating
back to 1799, The Home for Little Wanderers is one of
the oldest child welfare agencies in the nation, and
the largest in New England.
Greater
Springfield Habitat for Humanity
The Greater Springfield Habitat for
Humanity of Massachusetts is a non-profit ecumenical
housing ministry. Founded in 1987 as an affiliate of
Habitat for Humanity International, the Greater Springfield
Habitat for Humanity believes that decent and affordable
housing empowers people to reach their full potential.
Habitat aims to provide families stability in order
to break the cycle of poverty.
Habitat
for Humanity of Greater Portland
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland
(HFHGP) is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity
International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian homebuilding
organization. Habitat for Humanity is committed to the
elimination of substandard housing by building simple,
decent and affordable homes in partnership with people
in need. Habitat works in partnership with people in
need and community support to provide an opportunity
for low-income families to realize the benefits and
the blessings of home ownership. Habitat homeowners
are required to log 500 hours of sweat equity which
becomes the families down payment on their Habitat house.
Youth
Alternatives
Youth Alternatives, Inc. is a private, nonprofit organization
founded in 1972, it has built a continuum of care that
serves families at all levels of need, from prevention
to intensive interventions for child abuse and neglect,
juvenile justice and children in need of services. Their
clients include: survivors of abuse and neglect; parents
in need of support and education; children and youth
at-risk for homelessness or criminal behavior; and/or
families at-risk of having a child removed from their
homes.
Families
in Transition
Families in Transition is non-profit
agency that provides safe affordable housing to homeless
individuals with or without children. Participants also
receive comprehensive supportive services, including
support groups, skill-building workshops and computer/employment
training.
Crossroads
Rhode Island
Crossroads Rhode Island is a private,
non-profit agency established in Rhode Island in 1894
to assist stranded travelers, unescorted and runaway
youth, and other disconnected persons. Today we are
a multi-service organization providing assistance 24-hours
a day, seven days a week, for a broad spectrum of Rhode
Islanders.
