Meet Andre Sheldon

Greetings! I have been a resident of Newton for 33 years. Newton is a desirable residential community for many reasons, especially because of the acclaim for the school system and its proximity to Boston. It is a wonderful New England "bedroom" community.

I began working in Real Estate at a very young age in 1969. My older cousin owned his own office in Binghamton, New York. I joined him when I was in college, while studying mathematics and economics. The primary business was sales and rentals. In addition, the office did private investment of single family homes and apartment buildings. I conducted analysis of property values and forecasted income. The experience was wonderful.

After college, I pursued a career as a manger in the hotel, restaurant and country club business. In 1995, I prepared to change my career. With my past experience in real estate, my managerial experience and my knowledge of Newton, Boston and the surrounding area, real estate was the logical choice. Real estate and the restaurant business are both people businesses and service oriented. I hoped to utilize skills developed as an administrator and facilitator to assist people with the purchase and sale of their homes.

Selling and purchasing a home is one of the single most important investments in a person's life. It is exciting and emotional. I always devote extra efforts" to assist the seller and the new buyer with a smooth transition for everyone.
